About The Retreat

Through natural interactions with horses, we practice deepening our awareness, exploring our desires, finding our truth, and expressing our leadership and power in ways that are authentic and confident.

As the summer season comes to a close, we are often left feeling both a little sun-burned and perhaps a little soul burned. The excitement and adrenaline wane, and as a new season approaches, it’s time to hunker down and prepare for what comes next.

This is a time of transition, as our kids return to school and our work summons more focus, is a time to pause, reflect and reset. To gather with ourselves and other women in order to access our hearts, our creativity, our power... our truest gifts. It is a time for you and a time for us. A time to retreat, replenish and reclaim.

Join us at The Idaho Rocky Mountain Ranch for this unique opportunity and let nature, animals, and a community of women support you for a few days of meals, mountains, horses, meditation, hiking, and hot springs. This is nature at its finest.

Our time together we will include equine learning activities and nature-based experiences that:

  • Promote body and mind awareness through both quiet and moving meditations.
  • Identify your strengths and learn more about your default patterns and self-limiting behaviors.
  • Give you space for insight and reflection, relaxation, connection with like-minded souls, and FUN!

The Power of Equine Learning and Leadership:

Why We Work With Horses

Step into the world of your Natural Leadership and discover the source of your power, the feel of your presence, and a resilient creative force that knows no limits. Equine experiences will introduce you to one of the most astute teachers we know: the horse.

As prey animals, horses possess exquisitely attuned emotional systems and they are able to pick up on the ever-changing nuances of honesty, intention, and authenticity. The survival and cohesion of the herd relies on a radical commitment to awareness and to an ever-present feedback loop throughout the herd. The horses have been practicing trust-building, interdependence, honest feedback, and authentic leadership for centuries. And they are ready to share these lessons with you.

Our equine-assisted activities (non-riding) allow the horses to reveal to us parts of our essential leadership that need further examination and expression. You will have an opportunity to receive honest and gentle feedback from your equine teachers, coaching, and support from your human facilitators, and you will leave the experience with an open channel of your authentic power ready for you to use in every part of your life.
