Our Introduction to Natural Leadership Virtual Course is cohort-based and includes regular live support twice a month. This 3-month-long virtual course will allow you to engage with weekly content and exercises, live Zoom calls, and a community of other learners. $995 per person.

This 3-month online training program will allow you to engage with weekly content and exercises, biweekly live Zoom calls, and a community of other learners. You will have access to original Natural Leadership content, which will provide a basic overview of the model, how to use it to better understand yourself, and how you can begin to bring the model to life in your personal and/or professional relationships. We will guide you through our core concepts, using a combination of reading materials, audio and video content, and exercises to help you apply and integrate the material. Our team will provide support through online mentorship and bi-weekly virtual community gatherings via Zoom.

Is Introduction to Natural Leadership for you?

This course is designed for students who:

  • Have limited availability in their schedule and prefer to learn at their own pace

  • Are interested in learning a new framework that they can apply to their own personal development and/or in coaching others

  • Are looking for an introduction to coaching work with horses

  • Want to be part of a community of other people engaged in learning new leadership skills

Certification

To complete the Introduction to Natural Leadership certification, students will:

  • Complete all of the learning modules.

  • Complete all of the exercises.

  • Participate in at least one Community Gathering session via Zoom.

  • Engage with a Circle Up Mentor (additional fee) for at least 1 coaching sessions.

  • Attend an Introduction to Natural Leadership Equine Experience Workshop at Take a Chance Ranch (offered quarterly, additional fee)

Beth Anstandig is changing the way organizations, leaders, and individuals use their power. As a life-long cowgirl, writer, university faculty member, and licensed psychotherapist, Beth has 25 years of experience developing, implementing, and training people in Natural Leadership—a model she pioneered. Natural leadership helps people awaken their innate awareness so they can live and work with more authentic relationships and connection. Beth provides leadership, culture, and well-being programs through The Circle Up Experience. Together with an ever-growing menagerie of animals, Beth works with human herds onsite and online. She’s trained thousands of leaders and teams from some of the most renowned corporations, universities, and nonprofits. Beth’s fresh perspective and work integrating basic animal practices into everyday human life have been featured in global media, including BBC World Service, PBS, and Forbes. She is a frequent podcast guest, contributing writer for MomsRising, and an advisor and content creator for Kahilla: A Basecamp for Women on the Rise. Beth has an MA degree in Clinical Psychology from Santa Clara University and an MFA degree in Creative Writing from Arizona State University. Beth is the author of A Garden of Forking Paths (Pearson Longman, 2006) and The Human Herd: Awakening Our Natural Leadership (Morgan James, 2021). She lives in mid-coast Maine with an expanding community of animal herds.
